Ingredients

  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Cane Sugar
  • 4 tbsp Dried Culinary Lavender Buds

Instructions

  • Combine water and sugar in a medium saucepan and bring to a simmer until sugar is fully dissolved. Note you can adjust the sugar levels to your personal taste. Adding more for a sweeter flavor and less for a stronger lavender and less sweet taste.
  • Remove from heat, add the lavender, and stir to combine. Now, cover the pot and allow the lavender to steep for 20 to 25 minutes, depending on how strong of lavender flavor you would like.
  • Strain the lavender and pour the simple syrup into a clean jar.
  • This lavender simple syrup can be stored at room temperature for 1 week or refrigerated for a month.
