- 4 Bosc Pear Chopped into small cubes
- ¼ cup Brown Sugar
- ¼ cup Water or Apple Cider
- ½ tsp Sea Salt
- 1 tsp Ground Cardamon
- ½ tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract or Vanilla Bean Extract
Place a medium pot over medium-high heat. Add the chopped pear along with the brown sugar, water or apple cider, and salt. Cook on medium-high, stirring occasionally, until the pears begin to caramelize and color. After about 15 minutes, add in the cardamon and vanilla, turn the heat down to medium, and cook for another 5 minutes. Once your pears have reached the desired texture, remove them from the stovetop and enjoy!
After about 10 minutes, add in the cardamon, cinnamon, and vanilla, turn the heat down to medium, and cook for another 5 minutes. Taste and adjust the sweetness and spices to your liking. Once your pears have reached the desired texture, remove them from the stovetop and enjoy!
