- 1 14 oz block Extra-Firm Tofu Pressed and cut into large squares
- 1 cup BBQ Sauce Divided, and you can use the BBQ sauce of your choice
- Cooking Spray
Drain and press your block of tofu for at least 30 minutes. If you don’t own a tofu press, wrap the tofu in a kitchen towel and place a large pot or pan on top of the tofu as a press.
Cut your tofu into large squares or slabs, and toss with ½ cup of your preferred BBQ sauce. Put in the fridge to marinate for at least 1 hour but up to 2 days.
After your tofu is done marinating, preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
Place the tofu on a plate and brush with extra BBQ sauce on all sides.
Use cooking spray to oil the grill grates well, then place the tofu on the grill. Grill for 3 to 5 minutes per side, or until well-charred. Brush with more BBQ sauce and serve.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
