Why You’ll Love This Green Goddess Dressing

This dressing is a true flavor bomb. The fresh herbs give it a bright, zesty flavor while the creamy base (thanks to silken tofu) adds a satisfying richness. It’s the perfect balance of creamy, tangy, and herbal, and it’s versatile enough to be used on just about everything – from salads to sandwiches to grain bowls. Plus, it’s incredibly easy to make and can be stored in the fridge for a few days, making it ideal for meal prep!

Fun Flavor Variations For Your Green Goddess Dressing

Why settle for plain when you can get creative with different flavor combinations:

  • Smoky Chipotle Green Goddess: Add a teaspoon of chipotle powder or a couple of teaspoons of adobo sauce for a smoky, spicy kick. This version pairs wonderfully with roasted vegetables, grain bowls, or as a zesty drizzle over tacos.
  • Extra Creaminess: For an even creamier version, add an extra half avocado or a spoonful of tahini.

  • Herb Variations: Swap the basil and chives with your favorite herbs, like parsley, cilantro, or dill for a different flavor profile.

Serving Ideas For Your Green Goddess Dressing

This Green Goddess Dressing is incredibly versatile and can be used in various ways:

  • As a Salad Dressing: Drizzle over my green goddess salad, fresh greens, cucumbers, and tomatoes for a refreshing salad.

  • Veggie Dip: Serve it alongside roasted or raw veggies for a creamy, healthy dip.

  • Grain Bowls: Top quinoa, brown rice, or farro with this dressing for an added creamy finish.

  • Sandwich Spread: Use it as a sandwich spread or wrap filling for a burst of flavor.

Tips For The Best Green Goddess Dressing

For the best results, follow these simple tips to perfect your Green Goddess Dressing every time:

  • Soak the Cashews: To make the dressing extra smooth and creamy, soak your cashews in boiling water for at least 1 hour before blending.

  • Adjust the Thickness: If you prefer a thinner dressing, just add a little water or extra lemon juice to reach your desired consistency.

  • Herb Freshness: For the most vibrant flavor, always use fresh herbs. Dried herbs will change the taste and texture of the dressing.
